Plantation Pigs
In 1987, Plantation Pigs founder Hugh Norris made a pioneering move towards more compassionate animal welfare, establishing a completely free range system to rear his pigs.
Plantation Pigs breed Duroc/Hampshire crosses producing high-quality, succulent and tender free-range pork. The pigs live out their lives roaming freely in open fields on top of the South Downs, bathing in mud wallows during summer months to protect themselves from the sun and sleeping in deep straw beds in the winter to stay warm.
