Around the Farm
The forecast is perfect for a family day exploring Sky Park Farm this weekend. Cream teas will be available to purchase from the Visitor Centre. Perhaps sit on the terrace, taking in the glorious views of the Hangers and South Downs. Or, take-away and find a quiet spot by the Dew Pond or River Rother while watching the new born Sika & White (red) and Red deer.
The Sky Park Farm Cream Tea includes a variety of teas, freshly made scones luxuriously topped with a generous spoonful of homemade Chichester strawberry and elderflower jam and dollop of Libby’s Larder clotted cream.
We will also have children’s games such as hook a duck and guess the weight of the antlers! We will also have a face painting station all located just outside the visitor centre.
Around the farm calves are still being born daily. The yearlings are magnificent in their paddock by the River Rother, males with their new antlers. We have something for everyone. Enjoy walking around the farm, getting to know the deer. Why not buy some special deer food from the Visitor Centre to feed the deer? Our rangers will be available during the day to answer questions and help with deer feeding.
Entry to the Farm is through the Visitor Centre where visitors will be able to buy sandwiches, drinks, sweet treats and healthy snacks and may even be tempted by deer themed gifts.
Visitors may like to take a “sneak peek” at the new Adventure Playground, with its dedicated areas for toddlers and children, opening on 18th June. The Grazing Rooms cafe, Farm Shop and Butcher will open in July.
