Step into the wild and discover British wildlife like never before at Ranger School! This unique, fun-filled event combines hands-on learning about nature and our majestic deer with exciting activities tailored for curious young minds.
✨ What’s in store?
- Explore Wildlife: Learn about British wildlife, including hedgehogs (in honour of National Hedgehog Day on 2nd February) and of course, our beautiful deer.
- Life on the Farm: Junior Rangers will get to experience life on a farm alongside our expert Rangers.
- Adventure Activities: Build dens, track badgers, and toast gooey s’mores by the old rail embankment.
- Deer Health Workshop: Learn how to check a deer’s health through our handling system.
- Craft Fun: Get creative with wildlife-inspired crafts to take home.

What to wear
We do advise long trousers/leggings for the wooded area and the paddock as there are long grasses/nettles/brambles.
- Wellies are a MUST
- Double-check that all footwear still fits and that wellies are watertight
- Bring a water-proof coat
Please note, that filming for future marketing and events will be taking place. Please let a member of staff know on arrival if you do not wish to feature in our marketing materials.
