Sky Park Farm Celebrates National Burger Day
National Burger Day, Thursday 26th August, 2021
This Thursday at Sky Park Farm come and tantalise your taste buds and explore some different varieties of burger. The Grazing Rooms team invites you to join them on The Terrace, experience new tastes and enjoy some new and original burger recipes on National Burger Day.
With something for everyone, the team will offer a Grazing Rooms Beef Burger, a Korean BBQ Pork Burger and a Beetroot Butterbean Burger. Local ales and beers and a selection of soft drinks will also be available. Our burgers are freshly made by our chefs from The Grazing Rooms and come with our home made burger sauce, tomato relish, baby gem lettuce, pickles, freshly made slaw and leaves.
Enjoy your burger on the Terrace overlooking our paddocks of sika, red and white deer, or picnic in one of our magical spots by the Dew Pond and River Rother – freshly made sandwiches and a selection of drinks, sweet treats and healthy snacks are available from our Visitor Centre along with a selection of deer themed gifts. If you come back and visit over the bank holiday weekend, why not try our freshly made sourdough pizza available on The Terrace from our Grazing Rooms pop-up?
We have something for everyone. Enjoy walking around the farm, getting to know the deer. Why not buy some special deer food from the Visitor Centre to feed the deer? Our rangers will be available during the day to answer questions and help with deer feeding.
Children young and old can let off steam in the Adventure Playground. With a special fenced area for the Under 5’s and a larger play area for older children, children can satisfy their lust for adventure whilst our deer look curiously on. Many children have already scaled new heights with the climbing wall, created adventures in the fort with its tunnel, across the ropes and down the fireman’s pole. Since opening, laughter has filled the air as children piled onto the swing seat.
Entry to the Farm is through the Visitor Centre. The Grazing Rooms café, Farm Shop and Butcher will be opening soon.
